PEOPLE

ELC consist of a comprehensive team of experienced professionals that have worked on a multitude of construction projects in various different contracting arrangements to provide clients with a reliable, effective and professional service offering as an asset to their construction activities. Managing Director 

Nigel Stanley is a professional Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 26 years industry experience in the civil, building, infrastructure, oil & gas and engineering sectors including 16 years international experience in Taiwan, Australia, United Arab Emirates and Malaysia.

Nigel possesses extensive experience in contract, claims, commercial management and dispute resolution of road, rail, power, oil & gas, heavy engineering, high rise and commercial building projects; a proven track record of pre-contract negotiations and award of prestigious high value contracts; project and business unit commercial management and the successful close out of numerous complex design & build and EPC projects.

 

 

 

Richard brAy

Director 

Richard has over twenty years commercial management and contract administration experience primarily in a main contracting environment in Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, the Middle East and the United Kingdom, working with major contractors on a variety of building, infrastructure, civil, oil and gas and marine projects. Experienced in taking projects from pre contract through to final close out with a focus on providing pre tender risk management and contract advice, and thereafter establishing robust commercial management processes and procedures during design, procurement, cost control and contract administration stages. Experienced in bringing together and managing diverse commercial teams across a wide range of often challenging international locations.

 

 
 

JAMIE DUNCAN

Director 

Jamie is a committed, self-motivated, construction professional with a breadth of experience within various procurement methods and sectors. He has over 14 years experience in the industry and attained his RICS chartered status in 2005. He has worked on both the client and contracting side of the industry taking projects from initial development appraisal stage through cost planning, procurement and construction. Working within both the client and contracting side has given him a great insight and understanding of the different approaches taken by both parties which is invaluable in allowing him to provide strategic advice and services to clients.

 

 

 

Richard SHUTTLEWORTH

 

MRICS

Director 

Richard is a commercial executive with over 35 years' experience in international contracting. A professional quantity surveyor who has been involved in projects with values up to hundreds of millions (USD) often delivered via multinational joint ventures. His experience covers the full range of project lifecycles from contract procurement / negotiation through contract administration to final account / dispute resolution. Richard is experienced in formal dispute resolution including conciliation, adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation. In addition Richard has experience in corporate transactions including the sale, purchase and integration of businesses into organisations and introducing and implementing effective corporate governance and risk management. In additional to his commercial expertise Richard has also held operational roles to Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer level which enables him to offer a balanced and unique approach to tackling the challenges faced by contracting businesses.
