East Link Consulting (ELC) is pleased to announce the next step in its business growth and expansion in the SE Asia region with the incorporation of its new Singapore entity ELC (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.  The business has commenced operations on 1 August 2016 and has already started its first project.

Investing in a new jurisdiction is always a difficult decision and particularly where the market remains challenging and mature, however, the Directors of ELC are extremely pleased to announce the engagement of John Davies as Director and Country Manager of the Singapore business and are very confident that the combination of John’s experience and leadership and the support from the existing ELC businesses will successfully meet the challenges in the years ahead. 

John is a well-established industry professional with a wealth of Singapore construction market knowledge. John is a Singaporean permanent resident with over 15 years of experience in the construction industry.  John’s role in Singapore has been predominantly focused on Pre-Contract works and bid/tender management on large infrastructure projects in the region to a value of SGD$280m and above. John’s most recent success was acting as the Bid Manager for a MRT - Thomson Eastern Line tender that was successfully awarded to a Client with a value of SGD$294m.

During his time in Singapore John has been heavily involved in the construction industry charitable organisation, the Lighthouse Club Singapore, and was a Council Member for 1 year before being elected as President of the Lighthouse Club Singapore for the past 3 years. John has recently stepped down from the Presidency in 2016 but remains heavily active as a newly elected council member and trustee to the Lighthouse Club Singapore.

ELC welcome John to the team and we look forward to providing in country support services to our existing clients in Singapore as well as supporting John in developing and cultivating new Client relationships.
